Hi, I'm Hannah

I'm an early childhood educator, and Tiny Toss started with something I saw every day: children don't need more toys. They need things that let them lead.

I've watched children turn the simplest objects into whole worlds. A beanbag becomes a stepping stone, a picnic, a treasure, a target. The best play tools don't come with instructions. They wait for a child to decide what they are.

So I started making them.

Made slow, by hand

Every Tiny Toss is handmade by me in small batches here in Australia. I choose the fabrics, bake the sand, sew each bag for strength and close every one by hand. It's slow work, and that's the point. They're made to be tossed, carried, stacked and loved for years.

What I believe about play

Children learn best when they're free to explore in their own way, at their own pace. Tiny Toss isn't about getting play "right." It's about giving children something beautiful and simple, then stepping back.
